Easter Lunch

An exciting Easter Lunch was enjoyed by 50 elderly people from the local community. Longton Community Church open their doors and put on an amazing lunch that was funded by the Longton North councillors.
Everyone enjoyed the food and the friendship the highlight however, was when children from Gladstone Primary School. They came and sang to everyone at the meal, the children were all showing off their colourful Easter bonnets and sang lots of Easter songs.
It was great to see the younger generation and older generation mixing together and having so much fun and singing together. Find out more about what Longton Community Church did over Easter 2010
