What is your highest priority

Psalm 127:1
Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.

Families establish homes and sentries guard cities, but both these activities are futile unless God is in them. A family without God can never experience the spiritual bond God brings to relationships. A city without God will crumble from evil and corruption on the inside.

Don't make the mistake of leaving God out of your life. If you do, all your accomplishments will be futile. Make God your highest priority, and let him do the building

God says, I grow tired of watching you wear yourself out, I grow weary of seeing you try to initiate and produce what you need. I grow impatient with how you often ignore me and our time together. How many times do I have to tell you, I am your source in life, come to me and I will give you life in abundance. I can do more with you, through you, and for you in 5 minutes than you can in a week of struggling on your own. Without me, you are kicking against a brick wall. Only I can break down the barriers than prevent you from moving on and succeeding. Only I can lead you in the direction that will best honour me and bring joy and rest to you, your family, your community.
Seek first my kingdom and righteousness. Trust me to be your Vine, your source of all you need. I will add all the earthy things necessary for you, your family and your church. Just trust me, glorify me, shine for me, and live for me daily.

My response, Father I want to make your kingdom my primary concern and to put you first in my life, so that my thoughts are filled with your desires, and to serve and obey you in everything.
I confess that people, goals, TV, computer games and other desires all compete for priority and can quickly bump you out of first place, today Father I choose to give you first place in every area of my life.
