What to Expect

Our Sunday meetings are relaxed, friendly, and accessible. We come together to worship, hear God’s Word, and respond to what He is saying.


On a typical Sunday, you can expect:

  • A warm welcome
  • Worship
  • Bible teaching that is practical and relevant
  • Space to reflect and respond


You do not need to know anything in advance, and you will not be put on the spot.


Will I Be Welcomed?

Yes — absolutely.

When you arrive, one of our welcome team will greet you. If you let them know you’re new, they’ll happily help you, get you a coffee, and show you where to sit.


What Should I Wear?

Come as you are.

There is no formal dress code — everyone is welcome.


What About Children?

Children are especially welcome at Community Church Longton.

We know families can sometimes worry about whether children will be too noisy, but please don’t let that put you off. Children are welcomed and encouraged to be part of the service.


How Long Is the Service?

Our Sunday service starts at 10:30 am and usually lasts around 60 to 90 minutes.

Afterwards, there is time to chat and get to know people over tea and coffee.

There is no on-site car park, but street parking is usually available on Caroline Street and nearby roads on Sundays.
