Hi, I’m Barry, and I have the privilege of leading worship at Community Church Longton.

I’m married to Margaret, and we have a daughter, a son, and seven amazing grandchildren. We’ve been part of the church for 19 years, and it really is home for us.

I’m passionate about worshipping God—which definitely helps when I’m leading! I love seeing people encounter Jesus, especially when someone new begins to discover who He really is.

Around 21 years ago, I made the decision to only listen to Christian music so that what I fill my life with has a positive impact—and that’s something that’s stayed with me ever since.

Outside of church, I enjoy riding my motorbike and going on adventures in our campervan with Margaret.



I love church life—meeting people, building relationships, and walking through life together. We all have tough days, but being part of Community Church Longton is a place where I can be myself, be encouraged, and know I’m loved.
