Hi, I’m Judy. I serve as a trustee and deacon at Community Church Longton.

I lead our welcome team and help care for the practical needs of the building—setting up for services and making sure everything runs smoothly.

God led me to CCL over 20 years ago. For the first five years, I travelled more than 20 miles from Macclesfield each week, until God made a way for me to move to Longton permanently.

I have one daughter and three lovely grandchildren, and I enjoy listening to Christian music and reading in my spare time.

I’m passionate about God and His church, and I long to see revival in Longton and beyond—so that many more people can come to know Jesus.

In 2016, after returning from a holiday in Poland, I became seriously ill with swine flu, which led to double pneumonia, sepsis, and multiple organ failure. Doctors told my family to say goodbye.

But what they didn’t understand is that prayer works.

I had a powerful encounter with Jesus and was not only brought back to life, but restored stronger than before.
