Hi, I’m Thembi, and I serve as the Youth Pastor at Community Church Longton, as well as overseeing our Children’s Church.

I first came to the church after my friend Lynn invited me during the COVID period, and I became part of the church family in 2022.

I’m passionate about helping children and young people grow in their knowledge of God. I love creating spaces where they can build friendships, have fun, and feel safe and supported as they explore their faith.



I also enjoy encouraging young people to connect with others their age and grow together in confidence and purpose.

In my free time, I enjoy going on walks with my daughter—whether it’s exploring neighbourhoods (where she’s always planning our “next house!”) or spending time in the park and enjoying nature.
