Crowned with Glory
“What is mankind that You are mindful of them?” – Psalm 8
Find a comfortable position.
Take a slow breath in…
and out.
Become aware that God is near.
Not distant. Not distracted.
Present.

“Lord, our Lord, how magnificent is your name throughout the earth!” (Psalm 8:1)
“When I observe your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which you set in place…” (v.3)
“What is a human being that you remember him,
a son of man that you look after him?” (v.4)
Wonder
When we look at the vast expanse of creation…
it’s easy to wonder how God could be concerned with us.
- People who don’t always get it right…
- People who sometimes fall short…
- People who can disappoint Him.
And yet…
The Bible says He made us only a little lower than the angels…
and crowned us with glory and honour.
That’s remarkable.
The God who set the stars in place…
has placed value on you.
So the next time you question your worth…
remember this—
Your value is not based on your performance…
but on your Creator.
From the very beginning, God chose to make humanity in His image.
He placed His mark on us.
You carry the imprint of God.
And because He has already declared your worth…
you don’t have to live under the weight of worthlessness.
You are seen.
You are valued.
You are crowned.
“You made him little less than God
and crowned him with glory and honour.” (v.5
Lift Your Eyes
Picture the night sky.
Dark… vast… filled with stars.
Each one placed by God.
Each one held in place by His power.
Let that sink in.
The God who created all of that…
knows your name.
Stay there for a moment.
The Question
“What is a human being that you remember him?”
Let the question sit.
In a universe so big…
why would God care about you
Not in a doubtful way—
but in wonder.
The Answer
“You made him a little less than God
and crowned him with glory and honour.”
Let those words settle deeply.
- You are not an accident.
- You are not overlooked.
- You are not insignificant.
God has placed value on your life.
He has crowned you.
Not because of what you’ve achieved…
but because of who He is.
Respond
Quietly, in your own heart, respond to God.
Let your response be honest.
