The Lord Reigns
The Kingdom of God isn’t just a place we go…
it’s the rule and reign of a King—and that King is reigning right now

Find a comfortable position.
Take a slow breath in…
and out.
Become aware of God’s presence.
- He is not distant.
- He is here.
The Lord reigns! He is robed in majesty;
the Lord is robed, enveloped in strength.
The world is firmly established; it cannot be shaken.
The Lord Reigns
Not will reign.
Not used to reign.
He reigns—right now.
Over your life.
Over what you understand…
and what you don’t.
He is not uncertain.
He is not anxious.
He is clothed with strength.
The world is firmly established; it cannot be shaken. (v.1)
Everything may feel unsteady at times…
but His rule is not.
His throne is secure.
His authority is unchanging.

The floods have lifted up,
Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice;
The floods lift up their pounding waves

Picture the waves crashing.
Loud.
Relentless.
Overwhelming.
This is what pressure can feel like.
Noise.
Fear.
Uncertainty.
Greater than the roar of a huge torrent — the mighty breakers of the sea — the Lord on high is majestic.
Mightier than the sound of raging water,
mightier than the mighty breakers of the sea
God is not competing with the noise.
He is above it.
Whatever feels loud in your life right now…
He is louder still.
Stronger still.
Higher still.

Lord, your testimonies are completely reliable;
holiness adorns your house for all the days to come.
You can trust Him.
His word is steady.
His ways are pure.
His reign is good.
Let yourself rest under His rule.
You are not holding everything together.
He is.

Where do I need to recognise His reign in my life?
Where have I been living like I’m in charge… instead of trusting the King?”
Quietly, in your heart, say:
“Lord, You reign.”
“I trust You.”
“I rest in Your strength.”
Take one more slow breath in…
and out.
Carry this truth with you today:
The Lord reigns—and He is not shaken.
